Sisters of the Valley is a self formed new age order of women based in the Central Valley of California, USA.
The Sisters live, work and pray together and consider themselves as beguine revivalists with influences from the Indigenous Tribes of California. They are not affiliated to the Catholic church or any other man made religion.
The spiritual women are on a mission to get plant based medicine into the hands of those in need and do this in a sustainable and responsible manner.
The Sisters wear the habit of their ancient mothers, to remind themselves daily and through meditation, to walk and live in a manner that would make their foremothers proud.
They work their farm with compassion and respect to Mother Earth. They grow organic high CBD hemp plant and following moon cycle make homemade infused CBD oil which they ship all around the world. Their most popular product is the multi purpose balm.
Whilst referred to in the media as the weed nuns they prefer to be known as Sisters.
In 2017 the Sisters appeared on the ITV documentary Gone to Pot.
They have also featured in national newspapers including The Times, The Daily Mail, Metro, Scottish Sun, Independent, Daily Mirror and regional newspapers.
In 2019 the Sisters documentary film Breaking Habits was released and is available to download from iTunes, Google Play, Sky Store and Virgin Media.
